Specialist wedding dress cleaning
Wedding dresses often combine delicate fabrics, multiple layers, structured construction and intricate embellishment. They also collect marks that are not always immediately visible, including champagne, makeup, perspiration, fake tan and dirt around the hem.
Every gown is inspected by hand before treatment. We assess the care label, fabric, construction, lace, beading, trims and any existing damage before deciding on the safest cleaning process.
Your dress is photographed on arrival, carefully cleaned and finished, then quality checked before return. If we identify anything that needs your approval, we will contact you before proceeding.

Breathable Dress Carrier

Your cleaned dress is returned protected in a breathable dress carrier. Ideal if you do not require boxed storage.
Keepsake Box

Your dress is carefully arranged with acid-free tissue and returned in a presentation box for storage and safekeeping.

Before sending your gown
Before collection, please remove any personal items and tell us about:
- alterations
- detachable parts
- underskirts, belts or veils
- known damage
- previous cleaning attempts
- areas of particular concern
Accessories are included only where shown in your chosen service or agreed separately.
Turnaround and return
Cleaning turnaround is normally 10–15 working days from receipt and acceptance for treatment to dispatch back to you. Courier transit time is additional.
More complex staining, delicate construction, drying time, customer approvals or additional restoration work may take longer. Where this happens, we will keep you informed throughout.
Your gown is carefully finished and packed before return. Some light creasing may occur during courier transit, particularly with layered or structured dresses. Once unpacked, allow the gown to hang in a dry, well-ventilated room so the fabric can relax. For persistent creases, we recommend professional steaming rather than direct ironing.
Careful collection and return
DPD collection and tracked return are included for wedding dress orders within the UK, with DPD Extended Liability applied where applicable, up to £5,000. We will provide clear packing instructions and arrange collection from your chosen address.
You may also deliver and collect your gown directly from our Altrincham studio.
